Jobbeschreibung	Your tasks - Handling sample submissions and quality control of DNA samples for WGS - Preparation of libraries for WGS (manually and/or with liquid handling robots) - Operation of Illumina sequencing machines - Troubleshooting of technical problems in the sample preparation and sequencing workflows - Support the seamless operation of the core (e.g., ordering, regular instrument QC, supply management)

Qualifikationen	Your profile - Technical university degree, e.g. in biology/biotechnology or similar subjects (B.Sc.), or completed training as an MTA/ BTA/ CTA (biology lab technician) with equivalent skills and substantial professional experience - Wet-lab experience and strong molecular biology lab skills - Prior hands-on experience with next-generation sequencing technologies and library preparation methods including WGS library prep is a must. Training on robotics and Illumina sequencing instrumentation will be provided when necessary. - Experience working with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - Team player a proactive mindset, able to work in an international environment - Strong written and oral communication skills in English and German
