Jobbeschreibung	Your tasks - Cultivate the SIHUMIx consortium in anaerobic continous bioreactors and manipulate specific species by the CRISP/CAS approach - Characterize the effects of modified gene expression of selected species on the metabolomic level of the various species and the overall community metabolism by mass-spectrometry based targeted and untargeted metabolomics and metaproteomics - Integrate the omics-results with bioinformatic approaches and also with the results from genome-based metabolic modelling to identify pathways of metabolic regulation within the various species and in the species-species interaction - Participate in laboratory group meetings including presentation of results - Present your results at international conferences and prepare publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals

Qualifikationen	Your profile - M.Sc degree (or near completion) in biochemistry, microbiology, bioinformatics or related fields - Experience in cultivation of bacteria - Profound knowledge of microbiology - Strong interest in mass-spectrometry-based analysis of metabolites and proteins - Strong interest in bioinformatics - Excellent English skills - Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently
