Jobbeschreibung Description of the work:
In this Ph.D. position, a highly sensitive NV-NMR setup will be developed for detecting NMR signals at surfaces. The project will include setting up the experiment, writing control software and performing NMR experiments on interesting (bio)chemical systems. The work will be highly interdisciplinary at the interface of (quantum)physics, chemistry and biology.
Qualifikationen Requirements:
Prospective candidates should have a degree in physics or related field, interested in technology development and have hands-on experience in physics labs and Matlab programming. While not required, experience in one or more of the following topics are advantageous: NV-quantum sensing, microwave engineering, NMR/EPR

The group offers an interesting and challenging position within a young, international and interdisciplinary team located at the Garching Campus of the TU München. The position is paid according to the Civil Service rates of the German States “TV-L”, E13 (if suitably qualified). The contract is for a three-year period for doctoral researchers
